Print Liberation and Screen Printing!

After my last couple of failed attempts with using silkscreen to produce work I decided to get much more serious about the medium. I was referred to the above book by my professor after discussing the problems I had with the Rauschenberg book. It has become my personal bible, and completely changed my approach to screen printing. I highly recommend that if you are at all serious about getting into screen printing that you go here and buy it now. With its help I’ve managed to work all the kinks out of process, with perfect exposures and prints. With guidance from within its pages I built a t-shirt rig and a poster printing table. Its recommendations helped me spend my money wisely on upgrading my tools. I can’t say enough about how this book has helped me. Check out the work I’ve done so far in the gallery of images. I hope it goes without saying that I’m really excited about pushing the limits and producing some really great work in the near future. I’ll be sure to make short posts of the shirts and posters I do from now on.
