New Sketchbook!
So I’ve been needing a new sketchbook for a while now. So instead of buying one I’ve been putting it off until I had the time to make one. I’ve worked with book making in the past for school (you’ll see that in an upcoming post), and as gifts for friends. Finally I had the time to take and make myself a nice book to last a long while. The cover is cardboard I stripped away to show the corrugated insides, leftover binders board, hemp for the binding, craft paper for the spine and inside liners and leftover drawing paper from last quarter for the pages. Nothing compares to the feeling of spending the time to make something instead of going out and buying it, plus where else could I get such a bad-ass sketchbook? I feel like it came out really nice and durable, I expect to have and use this book for a long time to come.
